Each use has its own thickness and its own fixing detail. The thickness shown on each card is what Cemtone publishes for that use.

Protective lining · non-combustible board
Wall underlay: a base for tiles or any fixture, not a bare partition. Add a stud frame at every joint and fixing point, such as a basin or sanitary ware.
Also used for raised floors and for concealing utility and plumbing lines.
Service shafts and protective lining: no thickness published. Tell us the shaft and what it protects, and we will specify it.
Thicknesses come from Cemtone's uses table. For exposed external surfaces, the wall guidance suggests more than 12 mm, or as specified; follow the specification.
